1986 - Montessori School Using Cued Speech is founded

Alexander Graham Bell Montessori School (AGBMS) becomes the first and (still) only Montessori school in the nation to incorporate Cued Speech in direct instruction with deaf and hard-of-hearing students. AGBMS is located in Mt. Prospect, a Chicago, IL, suburb.
